BuronAI Terms of Service

Effective Date: March 1, 2026

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms of Service govern the use of BuronAI (“Service”) provided by BURON LABS Co., Ltd. (“Company”), including the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Company and its members.

Article 2 (Definitions)

• Service: All AI-based content creation tools provided by the Company, including Truth Room, Butena, Long Daeri, Short Daeri, Cut Daeri, Lyrics Helper, Sabangpalpal, Thumbnail Optimizer, Upload Prescription, and Multi Publisher.
• Member: A person who has agreed to these Terms and completed registration.
• Content: Any creative work generated through the Service, including text, images, video, and music.

Article 3 (Effect and Changes)

• These Terms take effect upon agreement during registration.
• The Company may update these Terms with reasonable cause, notifying users at least 7 days in advance.
• If a member does not agree to the updated Terms, they may withdraw their membership.

Article 4 (Registration)

• Registration is completed via Google account login or email sign-up, upon agreement to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
• The Company may reject or cancel registration in cases of: false information, technical issues, or violation of Company policies.
• The Service is available only to users aged 14 or older. If a user is found to be under 14, the Company may restrict the account and delete collected information.

Article 5 (Use of Service)

• The Service is provided in accordance with the Company's usage policies.
• Free plan users may have limited access to certain features and usage quotas.
• Paid plan subscribers may access features according to their plan; payment and refund terms follow the Refund Policy at the bottom of these Terms.

Article 6 (Content Ownership)

• Copyright of content created by members using the Service belongs to the member.
• AI-generated content may produce similar results for different users; exclusive rights are not guaranteed.
• The Company may use content in anonymized form for service improvement and promotional purposes.

Article 7 (Prohibited Activities)

Members must not engage in the following activities:

• Impersonating others or registering false information
• Creating illegal, obscene, threatening, or otherwise harmful content using the Service
• Disrupting the normal operation of the Service (e.g., abnormal mass requests, hacking attempts)
• Infringing on the Company's intellectual property rights
• Any other activity that violates applicable laws or Company policies

Article 8 (SNS Integration)

• Multi Publisher allows members to publish content to their connected SNS accounts (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, X, etc.).
• Members are responsible for complying with the terms of each SNS platform. The Company is not liable for account sanctions resulting from violations of SNS platform policies.
• The Company is not liable for failures caused by external factors such as SNS API policy changes, service outages, or upload errors.
• Members' SNS OAuth tokens are stored securely with encryption and are used solely for the purpose of uploading content.

Article 9 (Service Suspension and Changes)

• The Company may temporarily suspend the Service due to system maintenance, failures, or other unavoidable circumstances.
• The Company may modify all or part of the Service; significant changes will be announced in advance.

Article 10 (Withdrawal and Termination)

• Members may request withdrawal at any time, and the Company will process it immediately.
• The Company may revoke membership after prior notice in cases of prohibited activity violations.

Article 11 (Disclaimer)

• The Company is not liable for service unavailability due to natural disasters or force majeure events.
• The Company does not guarantee the accuracy or suitability of AI-generated content; members are responsible for how they use such content.
• The Company has no obligation to intervene in disputes between members or between members and third parties.

Article 12 (Damages)

If a member causes damage to the Company by violating these Terms, the member shall be liable to compensate for such damages.

Article 13 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
• Disputes arising from use of the Service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court.

Addendum

These Terms are effective from March 1, 2026.

Refund Policy

Effective Date: March 1, 2026

Article 1 (General Principle)

The Service provided by BuronAI consists of AI-generated digital content and credits. Due to their nature of being delivered and consumed immediately upon payment, they are generally non-refundable. Members are deemed to have agreed to this policy before payment.

Article 2 (Subscription Payments)

• Monthly/annual subscription fees are charged at the time of payment, and credits and features for the period are provided immediately upon payment.
• Cancellation may be requested before the next billing date. Upon cancellation, the member may use the service for the remainder of the current period, and will not be charged from the next cycle.
• Subscription fees already paid for the current period are non-refundable.
• Subscriptions may be cancelled directly on the Membership page or by contacting customer support via email.

Article 3 (Credits)

• Credits provided through a subscription are reset each billing cycle and do not carry over or qualify for separate refunds.
• Purchased (charged) credits are usable immediately upon purchase, and used credits are non-refundable. Refunds for unused purchased credits are generally not available, but may be discussed with customer support if they fall under the exceptions in Article 5.
• Credits granted free of charge through events or promotions are excluded from refunds.

Article 4 (Limitation of Withdrawal)

Pursuant to Article 17(2) of the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, withdrawal of subscription is restricted for digital content whose provision has begun or whose credits have been consumed immediately after payment. However, if provision of the content has not begun (unused), withdrawal is possible within 7 days from the payment date.

Article 5 (Exceptional Refunds)

In the following cases, a refund may be requested through customer support and will be processed after verification:

• Where the paid feature could not be used due to a service failure attributable to the Company
• Where there is a clear error such as duplicate or erroneous payment

Article 6 (Refund Procedure and Method)

• Refunds for statutory withdrawal are processed within 3 business days from the date of withdrawal.
• Exceptional refunds (Article 5) are processed within 3–7 business days after approval.
• Refund method: cancellation through the original payment method (e.g., card) as a principle.
